Frieza is a villain of the series. He was knocked into some lava by Mario and was supposedly killed, but survived and pulled Chain Chomp into the lava, causing the lava to dump out onto Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Jack Skellington. This is revealed to all be Luigi's dream, but Frieza might just be a real person in the series.
